Trey Parker and Matt Stone

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been interested in filmmaking since their days in college, when they met each other. From there, Matt Stone and Trey Parker would go on to produce comedic short films. They later teamed up to create the award-winning animated series South Park. Near the beginning of their careers, Trey Parker and Matt Stone met Brian Graden, a FoxLab executive, who commissioned them to construct a Christmas video card that he could send to his friends. The five-minute short, The Spirit of Christmas (1995), made by Trey Parker and Matt Stone was the result (featuring the South Park kids). It went on to win the Los Angeles Film Critics award for Best Animation. These two South Park creators had a lot of success with the actual show, winning the CableACE award as well as being nominated for primetime Emmys.
